6388 CORE+ Directional Headset Microphone

Experience now

The 6388 CORE+ Directional Headset Microphone delivers natural sound reproduction, high speech intelligibility and outstanding feedback rejection. Built with DPA's renowned CORE+ capsule technology, it combines exceptional clarity with trusted durability and ease of use. 6388 is the confident choice when only the highest performance will do.

Design of the headband has made consistent placement of the mic MUCH easier the some of the other models we are current using and performers have also commented that it feels a lot more secure on their head. Sonically it is incredibly forgiving for a directional placement wise and it has been very good in the trickier acoustic environments.

P&O Cruises

Beyond compromise

Directional headset microphones are used in the most demanding environments, where high SPL, stage noise and the need for high gain-before-feedback put extreme pressure on performance. Expectations for natural sound, intelligibility, comfort and ease of use remain equally uncompromising.

The 6388 moves beyond these conflicting demands. By combining CORE+ technology, highly controlled proximity and directional response and an optimized acoustic design, it delivers DPA's renowned natural and authentic sound with exceptional consistency — fast and without complexity.

Building on the legacy of the 4088 directional capsule, the 6388 takes performance further with enhanced feedback rejection, greater clarity and even more reliable real-world results. It represents a new benchmark where acoustic performance and ease of use come together.

A small, transparent tip on the end of the ear hook reduces pressure points during extended use.

Improved boom routing and smooth size adjustment

Angled clips and a silicone friction interface deliver a natural boom position and precise ear-hook adjustment.
