Boxy

A timbre descriptor (bass range) in audio assessment. Boxy denotes a hollow sound, as if the sound was played inside a small box. Represents resonances in the upper bass frequency range. Scale applied in listening tests: None – Weak – Loud [Reference: Report ITU-R BS.2399-0]
