True Diversity or Receiver Switching: In wireless microphone transmission, the principle that one receiver contains two separate antennas and two separate receiver circuits. The signal from the receiver with the strongest reception is passed to the output. Antenna Diversity or Antenna Switching: The receiver contains two antennas from which the strongest signal is passed to the receiver via a fixed interval switcher.
