Treble Strength

A timbre descriptor for the assessment of audio equipment. The relative strength of the treble or high frequencies. Scale applied in listening tests: • Weak: Covered, unsharp • A little under neutral: A soft sound without being dull • Neutral: In the middle of the scale, where you can clearly distinguish instruments • A lot: Treble Raised. Sharp, hard sound [Reference: Report ITU-R BS.2399-0]
