Area Sales Manager – EMEA
We are looking for a technically well-versed and commercial Area Sales Manager to further develop the EMEA regions. The position is a rare opportunity to work strategically with international sales and business excellence fronting a global top tier audio brand.

DPA Microphones A/S (DPA) is looking for a new Area Sales Manager to help them grow and develop new as well as existing markets in the EMEA regions. Playing an important part of the sales organization, you work closely with other departments such as marketing, product management, R&D and Customer Service. Therefore, you undertake a proactive role in terms of working with distributors, dealers and other external business partners owning the following areas of responsibilities:
- Budget management
- Sales planning & sales execution
- Realizing business potential with distributors and dealers
Reporting directly to VP Sales, South Europe & EMEA, Martin Møller Park you realize (and exceed) budgets. In doing so, you are continuously on top of market development, including figures and numbers which you report to management on a regular basis.
You assess, plan, execute, and evaluate the sales strategy according to market conditions leaning on company best practice extracted from similar markets. Thus, you cooperate, on a strategical and tactical level, with the distributors and dealers. You identify and pursue business opportunities and work closely with customers to meet the goal.
In doing so, you collect and share knowledge among the markets, ensuring state of the art sales processes cross-regionally. Therefore, an evident part of this role is to ensure customers and stakeholders have the necessary knowledge about DPA’s product and solutions.
Technical sales profile with strong business excellence skills
Taking on the position with DPA, you are expected to hold a bachelor or a master’s degree, preferrable from business school. Moreover, you are well-versed in B2B sales in an international perspective (having worked a minimum of three to five years within this field). Experience from the EMEA region and/or the pro-audio industry is likewise considered an advantage.
Most importantly, you hold solid experience selling top-tier technical brands characterized by a strong brand value among their end users. You hold strong commercial/sales excellence skills working strategically with business partners including distributors, dealers and influencers.
Moreover, you are a strong communicator, working effortlessly with all nationalities and adapt easily to cultures different from your own. You strive to reach your targets as a team working closely with colleagues as well as customers and external business partners.
Meanwhile, you are self-propelled and proactive by nature, independently initiating new sales and business activities, just as you thrive working with clear structures, planning, and deadlines.
Finally, you appreciate working in a dynamic and agile company, characterized by an informal working environment as well as short decision-making processes.
