Receiver update
To update to the latest version, you need:
• PC or Mac
• DPA receiver type N-DR1 or N-DR1-AO
• Ethernet cable (included in the packaging for the receiver)
Update steps:
1. Download the appropriate software, DPA Audio Controller, for either PC or Mac via this link: NS-DR1 Dual Channel Digital Wireless Receiver
2. Connect the receiver to the mains power and connect the ethernet cable to port 1 or 2 on the DPA receiver and the other end to your PC or Mac
3. Turn on the Receiver
4. Start up the DPA Audio Controller
5. If the PC or Mac has access to the internet while connected to the Receiver, the firmware is updated automatically upon hitting the Firmware Update button in the DPA Audio Controller application.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
6. If the PC or Mac isn’t connected to the internet, the firmware file must be downloaded and stored separately on your device before starting the firmware update procedure. The firmware file can be found here: NS-DR1 Dual Channel Digital Wireless Receiver (Under Downloads)
Transmitter update
If the transmitters need to be updated this is done via the IR firmware update procedure described in the manual. Please see N-Series manual page 58. You can find the manual here: NS-DR1 Dual Channel Digital Wireless Receiver (Under Downloads)
