Regional Sales Manager, MidAtlantic Region

We’re looking for a results-driven Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to actively seek out and engage with customers and prospects. You will assist the VP of Sales & Marketing to maintain existing accounts, as well as prospect and develop new customers, in order to boost top-line revenue growth and profitability across our 3 brands, Wisycom, Austrian Audio and DPA Microphones.

The ideal candidate will be located in DPA’s MidAtlantic Region, currently comprised of North Carolina, Virginia, Washington D.C., Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Eastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey, and will be responsible for assisting with all sales activities within that region. 50-75% travel will be required, including some national and international travel.

 

Compensation

DPA offers a competitive compensation structure and establishes salaries based on qualifications, geography, experience and expertise. The base salary range for this position is between $85,000 - $120,000, reflecting the minimum and maximum target base salary for this opportunity. This position is also be eligible for our incentive pay program, which varies based on individual and Company performance in the year. Additionally, benefit plans are offered, including our 401K retirement plan, Health, Life and Disability Insurance plans.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

The primary objective for the Regional Sales Manager of the MidAtlantic Region is to drive sales revenue within the region across all 3 brands – DPA Microphones, Wisycom and Austrian Audio.

 

Key focus areas will be:

· Successfully build and maintain a robust channel infrastructure using effective planning and cross-group collaboration.

· Plan and execute go-to-market strategies, including management meetings, sales trainings, educational events, planning meetings, quarterly business reviews and end-user outreach.

· Leverage reseller Marketing teams to develop and execute compelling awareness and demand generation programs to create new sales opportunities.

· Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth through dealer partnerships and channel development programs.

· Develop and implement sales strategies with clear goals, deadlines, and metrics.

· Create and manage annual dealer sales plans to support growth.

· Identify and onboard new customers and resellers to expand revenue.

· Act as brand ambassador with consultants, technology partners and end users to articulate our value proposition and facilitate their success.

· Participate at Industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build relationships and elevate brand visibility.

· Train dealer sales and engineering teams

· Build and maintain strong customer relationships through outreach, cold calling, and tailored solutions.

· Analyze sales reports to identify trends, address issues, and improve performance.

· Work to drive product demand through local efforts, including educational events, sales campaigns, dealer training and enablement and end user outreach

· Provide insights for sales and marketing collateral and report on customer needs and competitive activities.

 

Education, Experience & Requirements

· Minimum 5 years working experience as a sales representative, preferably in the professional audio or video fields

· Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales and channel management

· Ability to work independently from a remote office

· Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills

· Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

· Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs

· Relationship management skills and ability to build productive business partnerships

· Prior experience with wired and wireless microphones, Dante and/or audio networking is preferred.

· Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with CRM practices, travel booking and expense management software

· Prior experience with Microsoft 365 is preferred

· BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred

· Successful candidate must pass a background screening process
