I have been in the audio industry for over 19 years. I got out of college and pursued my first job at a rental company. I have had the opportunity to work with some of the largest international touring acts (Deep Purple, Metallica, Scorpions, Mark Knopfler to name a few) when they toured India.
This is when I first used the DPA 4006 (earlier known as the B&K) with the Meyer Sound SIM2 & SIM3.
I currently tour with The Raghu Dixit Project, Avial and Thermal and Quarter, a few of Indias top acts. I generally use the DAP4099 on the drums and the DPA 2018 as my main stay microphones. To tune systems I either use a DAP4006 or the DPA 4091.
In the year 2012, I cofounded Audio Academy LLP, a boutique audio enterprise, commuted to excellence in audio education. Audio Academy trains students to be industry ready for the Live, Studio and the Broadcast industry. Rental of audio equipment and studio work in our state of the art studio also form an integral part of our offering.
