      Speech intelligibility - low noise

      • Outstanding audio quality
      • Wireless podium mic capability
      • Highly directional – very isolated
      • High rejection of radio frequency interference
      • Sleek Scandinavian design
DPA gooseneck microphones have quickly become a very popular choice for podium mics as well as for conference room usage as either tabletop or ceiling mount.

These microphones have, on numerous occasions, been the preferred type to turn to when high speech intelligibility is paramount. This for instance is the fact at parliaments where multiple languages are to be simultaneous interpreted and the interpreters must catch every word and nuances of the spoken word and in a split second deliver the perfect translation.

In conference use, boardroom applications and videoconference situations the DPA mics gives you trouble-free installations and delivers pristine, clear sound.

The d:sign™ Gooseneck Microphone Series, contains specific mic solutions, mainly for the installation segment, from DPA's other microphone series.

      d:sign™ 4098 Supercardioid Microphones

(This microphone was previously known as the d:screet™ 4098 Supercardioid Microphone.)

With very low noise and a high sensitivity, d:sign™ 4098 Supercardioid Microphones offer the most clear, transparent, and natural sound available on the miniature mic market. The mics are capable of handling extremely high SPL before clipping, which allows the mic to deliver high speech intelligibility even when the speaker gets excited and starts to speak VERY loudly. With a linear response, low distortion and an extremely large dynamic range, these mics sound great no matter how challenging the environment.

In addition, speaking into the side (off-axis) of the microphone doesn’t make the audio sound worse, it just drops the level of your voice.

The d:sign™ 4098 Supercardioid Microphone is available in many variants. It comes in either black or white, with either an XLR or a MicroDot termination and in five lengths ranging from 16 cm (6 in) to 122 cm (48 in).

      d:sign™ 4011 Gooseneck Microphones

(This microphone was previously known as the d:dicate™ 4011 Cardioid Microphone.)

Using the MMC4011 Cardioid Microphone Capsule for its directional quality and attention to detail, this solution makes everything sounds like the original. The first-order cardioid pickup pattern provides superb separation between sound sources.

A flat on-axis frequency response and excellent phase response deliver a faithful reproduction of the original sound. The off-axis response is similarly smooth so that any leakage is an accurate reflection of the original, though attenuated according to the true first-order cardioid pickup pattern.

Due to its modular nature, the d:sign™ 4011 Cardioid Microphone Boom can be combined with different lengths of podium booms – 15, 30 or 45 cm (6, 12 or 18 in). If longer booms are needed for floor stands with visual elegance, our long booms at 75 or 120 cm (30 or 48 in) make a high-quality stage voice mic together with our dedicated accessories.

d:sign™ 4011 Gooseneck Microphones come in five lengths:
      • 20 cm (8 in), 32 cm (13 in) and 47 cm (18 in) boom intended for podium solutions
      • 77 cm (30 in) and 122 cm (48 in) for floor stand applications

      d:sign™ 4018 Gooseneck Microphones

(This microphone was previously known as the d:dicate™ 4018 Cardioid Microphone.)

This solution uses the MMC4018 Cardioid Microphone Capsule, which has a highly-directional supercardioid pickup pattern with a smooth and uniform off-axis frequency response. The supercardioid shape is frequency independent, securing an identical sound color around the microphone. The usual rear lobe heard on most supercardioids is minimized on this capsule. This makes it much more isolated without sudden frequency dependent peaks and dips.

Due to its modular nature, the d:sign™ 4018 Supercardioid Microphone Boom can be combined with different lengths of podium booms – 15, 30 or 45 cm (6, 12 or 18 in). If longer booms are needed for floor stands with visual elegance, our long booms at 75 or 120 cm (30 or 48 in) make a high-quality stage voice mic together with our dedicated accessories.

d:sign™ 4018 Gooseneck Microphones come in five lengths:
      • 20 cm (8 in), 32 cm (13 in) and 47 cm (18 in) boom intended for podium solutions
      • 77 cm (30 in) and 122 cm (48 in) for floor stand applications
