Production Sound Mixer

I have been in the motion picture industry since 2000.

I started my career as an apprentice, later sound technician at OB events, soon began working in episodic drama and film productions. Today, my major profile is production sound mixing for film and television.

Career Highlights

Favorite DPA Microphones

  1. 4018B/C/G/E
  2. 4060/61
  3. 6060/61
  4. 4098

The various original accessories and different preamps make the 4018 mic capsule a versatile tool on film sets, for example, it is possible to use the same microphone hidden in a car or rigged onto a boom pole.

In combination with a figure-of-eight microphone, the 4018B works very well as a compact, lightweight MS microphone suitable for capturing ambience or documentary style dialogue/ambience.

When it comes to bodyworn mics, the miniature DPA microphones (4060/61, 6060/61) in their different colour and multitude of accessories offer us good solutions for every challenge the scenes and the costumes may present.

The 4098 becomes a good tool when we need an unobtrusive directional microphone, we often use them as a hidden mic for dialogue and/or music recording.
