Establishing a French sales force will allow DPA to get closer to this market.
In keeping with its philosophy of getting closer to dealers and customers alike, DPA Microphones is strengthening its presence in France by setting up a dedicated DPA sales and support team to handle this very important, growing market.
From May 1, 2021, the new DPA subsidiary, DPA Microphones France, will take over responsibility for all sales in France from Audio2, which will no longer distribute DPA microphones.
“France is an important and interesting market for DPA," says DPA’s CEO Kalle Hvidt Nielsen.
"We have a strong, loyal customer base and see more potential for growth, which is why we have chosen to invest even more in the market.”
He continues: "Over the years, Audio2 has been key to our success in France, helping us establish DPA’s reputation for high quality products as well as good and reliable service and support. However, we want to be even closer with our dealers and end customers. Together with our dealer network, we want to grow the DPA presence in France. With this change, we hope to make the DPA brand more accessible and help even more people experience great sound.”
To facilitate a smooth transition, DPA Microphones France will be headed from Denmark by Martin Møller Park, DPA’s VP of Sales for France. Key members of Audio2's sales force will join DPA Microphones France from May 1. As well as handling sales and support, they will also play a key role in providing customer feedback, which will help DPA deliver high levels of service and products for the market.
